Three years remain on present lease, but the ICP is keeping its eyes open.
Director Willis E. Hartshorn said that the center
is looking for a space that can house both the museum and the school.
The museum and the school now straddle two sides of the Avenue of the
Americas and evaluation of spaces below 26th st. has begun. The ICP
still has time to look but the looming move will offer the ICP the
chance to grow.
