"time and change work inevitable degradation on all things. As an architectural photographer, I've always been fascinated by structures in different states of decay.” - Magda Biernat
Magda Biernat has photographed some of Earth's remotest locales, among them Antarctica and Alaska. For Adrift she focused in on icebergs and Inupiat Eskimo huts whose shapes and volumes echo one another. The series is a quiet, haunting study of organic and inorganic structures succumbing to the effects of global climate change.
The artist will be signing copies of her book, Adrift at the opening.
