Review: Christian Cravo at Throckmorton

Brazilian photographer Christian Cravo captures visions of Haiti. In true tradition of Haitian culture are layers of duality and hybridity- Christianity infused with traditional African religious practice. Images in this exhibition depict sacred spaces- waterfalls and caves and the religious celebrations for which they are cathedrals.
