Sebastiaan Bremer's elegant images wander from realistic to fantastic from concrete to airy, from tangible to illusive. Beginning with a soft focus c-print appropriated from his personal or family history, the artist works back into the enlarged prints with photographic dye. Added marks range from robust to refined network of dots that weave into forms or lay over them. The surface is rendered lace-like.
