We look forward to seeing you at The AIPAD Photography Show New York, April 16-19. This is the second of three exhibitor bulletins we will be sending you leading up to the event. To ensure that your preparation for the Show goes smoothly, please see the updates below.


This year AIPAD is excited to offer our members a unique opportunity to advertise in a special pullout section of The Wall Street Journal. In addition to a general advertisement promoting the Show, exhibiting members are able to purchase an ad in the newspaper’s Greater New York section that includes a 100-word write-up, booth number, and website link. The deadline for reserving your space in this section is Friday, February 27. Make sure your gallery is not left out of this great special section! To ensure the discounted rate of $309 per night plus tax and service charges, reserve your hotel accommodations no later than Friday, March 13. Room types are limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Decorator Move-In Only Mon. April 13 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Art Handlers/Shippers Only Tues. April 14 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Exhibitors Tues. April 14 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
All Booths to Move-In Wed. April 15 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.


Exhibitor registration is open Tuesday, April 14, from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 15, from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.


All reasonable efforts will be made to have booths built before 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, so that move-in can begin promptly at 3:00 p.m.


IMPORTANT: Exhibitors planning to deliver their own artwork and exhibit materials are advised to arrive at the dock after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14 or after 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15. All booths must be fully installed by Wednesday, April 15 at 3:00 p.m.


Show Hours

All booths must be open and staffed during Show hours. Exhibiting galleries will be allowed into the Armory one (1) hour prior to opening on each Show day. Exhibiting galleries will be required to exit the Armory as soon as the Show closes each evening.

Exhibitor Installation Dinner
We are delighted to announce that AXA Art, the Premier Corporate Partner of AIPAD, will once again be sponsoring an Exhibitor Installation Dinner, on Tuesday, April 14 near the main entrance of the Show floor beginning at 6:00pm.

In preparation for the 2015 Show, we will be holding our second informational webinar.

In this webinar we will discuss the AIPAD rules and regulations and how to make your booth the best-looking one on the Show floor!

One specific area we will cover is recommended vendors for ordering bins and sleeves. The Show Committee has recommended placing orders for bins from Selwyns and orders for sleeves from Wally. If you plan to order bins or sleeves, act soon to provide yourself with plenty of time for your orders to arrive.

Exhibitor Staff and Artists Badges

Each exhibitor will be allotted a maximum of five (5) staff badges and one (1) artist badge. All exhibit staff will be required to wear a badge at all times. Additional staff and artist badges will not be distributed. All badges will be designated as either "Staff" or "Artist."

  • All bags and parcels are subject to being checked by security upon exiting the Show floor, even if they are being carried by individuals with exhibitor badges. This process is in place to ensure the safety and security of valuable works of all our exhibiting dealers. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
  • Consistent with past years, AIPAD will not be providing dealers with hardware to hang artwork at the Show. AIPAD encourages dealers to bring their own hardware to hang artwork in their booths. Please remember to remove your hardware at the close of the Show so as not to puncture wall panels when they are stacked for storage.
  • Exhibiting dealers are not permitted to display their own art works in their booth space, but may have catalogues available in their booth that include their own work.
